Congratulations to Diana (Leach) Holland '86 who is our Distinguished Alum this year.
Among her many accomplishments, in 2015 she became the first woman to serve as a general officer at Fort Drum, and the first woman to serve as a deputy commanding general in one of the army's light infantry divisions. In addition, she was announced as the 76th Commandant of the Corps of Cadets at the United States Military Academy, the first woman to serve in that position. Diana’s final assignment was in Vicksburg, Mississippi where she was the first woman to command the Mississippi Valley Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and to serve as President of the Mississippi River Commission. |
