The cost to join the Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association is $40 for a lifetime ($60 for couples). Members receive one copy of Noticias, our twice yearly Alumni Newsletter, and are kept updated on events connected to Santa Barbara High School. Membership funds are used to support Board costs and projects at Santa Barbara High School.
Scholarships--See this page for a list of specific scholarships that are available. If you would like to start a new scholarship, please contact our Treasurer, Deanna Morinini ([email protected]). General Fund--These donations cover general Board expenses and publishing our newsletter. Special Projects--Buildings and grounds projects benefit from these donations. Walk Down the Hill Fund--This fund allows socio-economically disadvantaged seniors to graduate with pride, helping them with graduation expenses. Classroom Assistance Program (CAP)--CAP supports teachers by helping them pay for classroom supplies, field trips, etc.
Are you interested in giving the Santa Barbara HIgh School Alumni Association some or all of your assets while you are alive or upon your passing? There are a number of ways to donate to the SBHS Alumni Association and to include us in your estate planning. Please consult your legal representation to ensure that you are doing what is best for you. Option 1: Naming the SBHS Alumni Association in your will or trust. Option 2: A Charitable Distribution of monies from your Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). Option 3: Donating stock directly to the SBHS Alumni Association Option 4: Donating cash (online or via check) directly to the Alumni Association.
