SBHS Turns 150 Years Old in 2025

THE high school was founded in 1875 and continues to thrive, producing artists, athletes, scholars, builders, do-ers, healers, and more.

Celebrate with us throughout 2025 as we honor our school, it's staff, and its students with exhibits at local libraries and Chaucer's, displays on the school campus, and a birthday party and All Dons Reunion in the Fall.

The Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association is a nonprofit 501(c)3. All donations support student scholarships, projects for the high school and alumni, and Alumni Association expenses.

ALL graduating classes are invited as well as the greater SB Community. Entrance is free.

10:00am alumni parade on Milpas Street from Cota to the high school.

Alumni Association gives $265,000 in scholarships

The SBHS Alumni Association gave out $265,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors and alumni who are furthering their education at community colleges, 4-year colleges/universities, and in certification programs.

Mission Statement
The Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association was created in 1975 to advance the interests and welfare of Santa Barbara High School and its students, staff, and alumni. We provide educational scholarships, support reunions, allocate monetary assistance to classroom projects, grant awards, beautify the campus, and preserve the history and archives of the school. We promote unity and equity and encourage Dons spirit to honor our shared legacy.
